Scottsroka.com is a showcase for the creative art photography of Scott Sroka. Scott Sroka has been seriously shooting photos for more than twenty years in locations from Florida to Alaska and throughout the Southwest US and along route 66. Scott Sroka a member of the American Society of Picture Professionals (ASPP). Much of Scott Sroka's work is done as stereo photography, also known as 3-D photography. On the website, there are several examples of stereo photographs that can be viewed with anaglyph 3-D glasses (red / blue lenses). These stereo photographs look particularly striking as high resolution prints. Scott Sroka has worked as a freelance photographer for the National Geographic Society, and as a staff member in Washington, DC in National Geographic's Image Collection. Henry the parrot, the National Geographic Society's mascot blue and gold macaw, is retired with Scott Sroka in Florida. Scottsroka.com has a page devoted to keeping National Geographic Staff (and anyone else) interested in Henry updated on him with an "Almost Live Henrycam" which features recent photos of Henry. While in Washington, DC Scott Sroka photographed and illustrated a children's book on firefighting, titled "Firefighting Behind the Scenes." "Firefighting Behind the Scenes" was published by Houghton Mifflin and is available at Amazon.com. Scott has also produced photographs for numerous educational products at National Geographic, including the subjects: Firefighting, Police, Post Office, Television, Newspaper, Hospitals, and the Environment. Scott Sroka's Photographic concentration now is on tropical subjects and seabirds in Florida, particularly in the Tampa Bay area. Scott is also working with Adobe Photoshop to create "carships" -- a transformation of ordinary cars into extraordinary art. The example of Photoshop carship art shown on the site is of a 912 Porsche Targa, with a variety of other cars to come. The examples of Scott's style and subject matter on the website are only a small sampling of the many photographs available. All of Scott Sroka's past photographs are available for purchase, either via publication rights or as prints, and Scott Sroka is available for appropriate creative work of any kind, from Photoshop to 3-D.
